Trainings of the Erasmus+ programme

The Training Schools are split into two lab-based schools (Portsmouth and Milano) and two field-based schools (Santorini and Catania).

Each training school is ten days in duration. Each will focus on the surface expression, deposits and landforms associated with different natural hazard processes. They will provide training in the field and remote sensing approaches to mapping and monitoring different hazards, and the integration of such information into Virtual Reality. The destinations for the two field campaigns are Greece in 2018 and Italy in 2019 and postgraduate students and staff from each of the five academic institutions plus staff from other associated partners will attend.

  • Postgraduate students from the partners can apply to join with ERASMUS+ financing.

  • Other self financing applicants are welcome, depending on space.

  • Application procedures are simple. Each potential applicant should contact their university representative (see partners), then follow the specific university applications (letter of motivation and cv). These are then centralised and validated by the Management Committee.
